How to Create an Entertainment Room in Your Home
Have you seen the scene in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead? You know, the one where there’s a huge entertainment system delivered?! They’re my entertainment goals, especially if it includes a record or tape player- vintage! I think the dream home entertainment room would have lots of cool gadgets and fun for all the family, but I’m going to start with most obvious…
Whether you want to watch a movie or catch up on Eastenders (I LOVE Eastenders!), a TV is the most important part of an entertainment room. There are some awesome android TV deals out there, you just need to find the right one for you!
A pool table
Who wouldn’t want a pool table? Imagine the endless hours of fun you could have? I can imagine us setting up doubles games constantly. George and Warren absolutely love a bit of pool, so this is definitely on the list.
A juke box

Oh yes. A bar would be a perfect addition to any home entertainment room. Mocktails, beers or even a cold glass of water could be enjoyed in between rounds of pool or during a late night movie session. Bliss!
A record player
For those times when you need authentically played music. I love the raspy sounds of a record player, and I think it would offer an alternative to the juke box!
I wouldn’t be my father’s daughter if I didn’t wish for a projector and screen in our dream entertainment room. They’re the epitome of luxury and I know one day we will have one!
An entertainment room should always have a relaxation area. I’m thinking large comfy sofas, bean bags, pillows and blankets. Pure bliss!
Of course an entertainment room would totally have a shed load of books. Books piled high, on shelves and bookcases. Books everywhere.
I’m already dreaming about all these amazing things, but it would only be perfect because of the people I’d get to share it with. That would be priceless…
