Review: Everyman Theatre Presents Little Shop of Horrors
*Press tickets, all opinions are 100% honest and my own I have been waiting a long time to see Little Shop of Horrors on stage again, so when Everyman announced it as one of their summertime performances, I couldn’t wait to attend. It’s in my top 5 musical theatre favourites list, so you can imagine my excitement as the day approached! Everyman Theatre is based back in Sophia Gardens, with easy access from the city centre and a fairly decent car park (although, don’t quote me on that, I don’t actually drive!). I went with my Mom (aka Nanny Kim) and we had a lovely pre-show drink and nibbles, but…

Review: The Play That Goes Wrong, Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff
Last night I had the pleasure of attending WMC with my old theatre buddy and very good friend, R. It was so lovely to hang out again and the sun was shining, so I knew we’d have a lovely time… The Play That Goes Wrong – What’s it about? The Play That Goes Wrong is about a fictitious Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society and their performance of a ‘whodunnit’ murder mystery set in the 1920’s. As the title suggests, the play does not pan out as intended, with tonnes of slapstick, humour and wrong lines. What I liked… I really loved the energy from all of the performers. Honestly, it was…

REVIEW: Singin’ In The Rain at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff
*I was given press tickets for this performance, all my views are 100% honest Last night I headed to Cardiff Bay to see Singin’ In The Rain with my mother, an avid Gene Kelly fan. I don’t know if you will guess, but I was actually named after Gene Kelly, it’s just a shame I have no rhythm or co-ordination, haha! We arrived in good time for the show, and grabbed a drink before going in and finding our seats. I was a little flustered as we had to go in a different way than I’m used to, but we got there in the end, thanks to the awesome staff…

Honesty, Humour and Heart: Hollie McNish at Wales Millennium Centre
*Press tickets, all opinions are 100% honest and my own Last night Zoey and I were lucky enough to catch Hollie McNish at Wales Millennium Centre. I am HUGE fan, so I was super excited to be able to show Zoey just how magnificent poet Hollie is! Honesty, Humour and Heart: Hollie McNish at Wales Millennium Centre I remember seeing Hollie in a video on Facebook many years ago, and her words stuck with me forever. Her poetry really hits the spot, from day-to-day parenting stuff to the weird and wonderful world inside her mind; she’s fantastic. I saw her a few years ago with Vanessa Kisule and…
