Hey guys, so today on the blog is our review of The Dream Pillow UK, a gorgeous pillow that makes bedtimes a fun, calm and enjoyable experience. Read on to find out what we thought…

Review: The Dream Pillow UK

We received The Dream Pillow UK about a week or so ago, and immediately George and Molly fell in love with their new found friends. They’re £19.99 each, and George received Sharkie, whilst Molly had Lamby, and both sets included a dream pad for writing down their dreams. There’s also the original option, which includes a plain pillow, dream pad and a storybook.

How does it work?

The Dream Pillow is a lovely pillow with a difference. Each night before bed, your child writes a dream note and they pop it in the middle of their dream pillow. They can then snuggle up with their pillow and focus on dreaming the dream their chosen dream through visualisation…

George and Molly were super excited to open up their boxes (which can totally be recycled for other craft projects, or kept as a little home for the dream pillows), immediately taking to their new pillow buddies! All day they told me how they couldn’t wait to use their pillows, and how they couldn’t wait to write down their dream.

That very first night, they both went to sleep without any disruptions, but the next morning they were both disappointed that their dream didn’t ‘happen’. HOWEVER, there’s a very important reason it didn’t happen; it takes up to two weeks of concentrating each night, visualising and focusing on that dream, before the dream materialises.

So, we waited two weeks, and they visualised their dreams, and this is what happened…

They started to have better sleep and nicer dreams. They didn’t quite dream the dreams they asked for, but I think it may take a bit more time (and focus), so we will keep working on this and update this post regularly!

The positives include their focus and their ability to drop off to sleep much easier since the pillows came into their lives. I think it definitely focuses their minds on their dreams and settling down before sleepy time, and I think it may take a bit more time for the dreams to match the dream wishes in their lovely pillows, but well worth the wait! For now, they have a new supercute friend to snuggle up with at night, and dreams to plan out for a lifetime…

Have your children tried the Dream Pillows? What do you think of them?
