Why Christmas is All About the Socks!

*This is a collaborative post. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Every single year I look forward to the one gift a lot of people take for granted – socks. I love socks. I always have. I love cosy feet and snuggly toes so socks are the one way to achieve both!

I spend most of the year wishing for new socks for Christmas, and Warren never fails to deliver. I literally have sock coming out of my ears on Christmas day and it makes me oh so happy! I think this love of socks may well have infiltrated my own family, because George and Molly hoard their socks (just in case) and Warren has a drawer full to challenge my own collection!

It’s a strange obsession I know. But it’s also a very cosy and colourful one. There are so many lovely patterns and styles out there we’re never going to get bored either. We always dream about fluffy socks, practical ones, patterned or ones with Santa on them, who knows what we’ll get year on year!

Special Occasions

When it comes to Christmas socks, it’s all about splashing out and going for something a little bit special. You can get socks from most shops, but it makes such a huge difference to push the boat out and purchase from a specialist store.

At Christmastime I think it’s nice to treat your loved ones to something special, and The London Sock Company have so many special and very lovely gift boxes. I am absolutely loving this gorgeous gift box from their collection for £69. They also do larger gifts boxes or little 3 pair gift sets in various colours, with prices ranging from £18 to £479 so there’s something there for every kind of budget.

They also do really cute father and son sets and I’m very keen to purchase a set of these for Warren and George. I think it’s a really cute idea to give a double gift, especially if it means matching his and his socks!

I adore how they have combined their love of socks with bright and bold colours. There’s no holding back on the array of rainbow colours in their collection, and that makes them even more special and perfect for Christmas.

I think this kind of purchase is both an investment and a special treat, perfect for the loved ones in your life who have a sock obsession (like us!).

Do you love receiving socks for Christmas?
