Today on the blog we’re talking all things fashion with our  Femme Luxe Finery Review. We love trying out new styles and ordering online is so much simpler, especially in the early days of transition. Read on to see the items we chose, and what we think of them…

 

 Femme Luxe Finery Review: Heading into Autumn with Style

We love shopping together, and I think there’s something really exciting about receiving parcels in the post, so we are always happy to work with Femme Luxe Finery! When the parcel arrived I did open it ahead of Zoey coming home, because I’m sooooo impatient haha! I had to see what was inside…

Whilst I was choosing the items, I wanted to make sure we’d have the right Femme Luxe sizes for both of us. As mentioned before, their sizing doesn’t go past a 14 (from what I can see) and I’m in that realm nowadays, so I did feel concerned some items may not fit (especially in the chest area!).

The first item I chose was a lovely chain print dress (£18.99) that reminded me of Whitney Dean in Eastenders (I know my mother likes how she dresses, and who can blame her!). I thought it looked great for nights out on the town with Zoey, so I picked a size M/L (12/14) in the hope that it would fit.

I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, and couldn’t wait to try it out. And guess what? It was the perfect fit! It could cope with my bosom area (and my bottom!), so I was pretty chuffed! I love the length, the pattern and the ‘look’, and it could easily be dressed up with tights and heels or down with leggings and trainers. Basically, it will look good with anything!

The material is lovely, and I felt ready for a night on the town when I tried it on! It’s awesome how good a new dress can make you feel, and this gave me all the feels…

 

 

 

 

The next items on my list were these gorgeous jumpers for Zoey and I. We love getting all cosy over the winter months, so it made sense to see the season through in style! I ordered the lime oversized split side jumper in a size M/L (10/12) and the pink oversized knit jumper in a L (10/12). They are both so incredibly cosy, and we look forward to wearing them loads over the next few months.

I think they go well with jeans or leggings, and you can always jazz them up with jewellery or up the stakes with your make-up to show them off! The lime jumper costs £18.99 whilst the pink jumper is £14.99, and they both look so fab…

 

 

The final item on our shopping list for our Femme Luxe review was a lovely camel belted long coat (£18.99) and I ordered this in a M/L (12/14). I really like the material of this coat, it’s so soft and lovely to wear, and the length is perfect for glam nights out or business meetings!

I also think it can go with many different outfits, from jeans and t-shirts to dresses or anything you fancy. This colour lends itself to this, matching with a varied amount of colours and items of clothing. So you can wear this all dressed up, or just for a casual occasion…

I love getting all cosy with Zoey, so I think the jumpers are my favourite items, because we can snuggle down and enjoy candlelit winter nights together! This selection of clothing came to approximately £75 and I’d say it was well worth it, mostly because there’s something here for every occasion.
