Decoupage Halloween Pumpkin From Hobbycraft
*We received the pumpkin and deco paper from Hobbycraft in return for this post. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
Decoupage is my favourite craft, so it was really nice to have some one on one time with George creating a decoupage Halloween pumpkin from Hobbycraft.
Decoupage Halloween Pumpkin From Hobbycraft
Decoupage is a relaxing, sometimes messy, very satisfying craft to complete. I have so many decoupage projects in the pipeline, but for now it’s all about Halloween!
All you need is:
- Modge Podge
- A paintbrush
- A mache pumpkin
- Decoupage paper
Step 1 Tear up the paper
Step 2 Get sticking!
Use Modge Podge to coat a small area of your pumpkin, then pop some paper on top. Brush another thin layer of Modge Podge over the top. Keep doing this whilst also slightly layering the pieces on top of each other…
Step 3 Leave to dry
You can do different types of paper wherever you like, George decided to use a different paper on the stalk. Once it was dry, we added glitter to the top….
I love how our decoupage Halloween Pumpkin has turned out! He’s so incredibly perfect, and we can easily pop in a fake tealight and proudly display him somewhere in our spooky house…
