Bluestone Review: Our Wonderful Winter Holiday

*We were invited to Bluestone to review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.

We were beyond excited to be invited to review Bluestone Wales this week. We are huge Bluestone fans, so we couldn’t wait to pack up and head to glorious Pembrokeshire for a midweek break.

Bluestone Review: Our Wonderful Winter Holiday

It’s always an exciting time packing up the van and heading out on the road. We get so excited as we travel along the country roads, wondering what our adventure will involve and how much fun we’ll have together as a family.

Check-in was easy as usual, and our little home for the week was adorable. I snapped some very quick photos to show you before we descended on the little house with all our bits and bobs…

I absolutely love that towels, tea towels and other useful bits and bobs are included. Not having to think about bin bags and washing up liquid really helps in terms of stress levels when packing up for the trip. I’ll be writing up a post soon to help you decide what to pack when you book your very own Bluestone trip, so watch this space!

Also, the houses are really clean and well equipped, and we always feel immediately relaxed once we get through the door. We had one issue on the first day with our hot water, so Warren called the guest services and two lovely maintenance guys came out and fixed it immediately. This is completely the right way to respond to any issues, with efficiency and smiles!

We leave the day after tomorrow, and I have to admit, time has flown by. We have done so much, from Christmas traditions to using the fab facilities on site. We’ve spent lots of time at the Adventure Centre, we’ve been swimming in the Blue Lagoon and we’ve also just spent a lot of time together, which is probably the best thing about Bluestone…

It’s not an overwhelming place in terms of things to do. You can access many free activities or pay for others, or you can just sit back and relax. I just love the fact that we’re together…

Bluestone is such a beautiful place to be, and we managed to catch a lot of wildlife in action, including this beautiful robin…

The festive vibe is definitely in abundance at Bluestone, with fairy lights and happy elves dotted around the resort. I absolutely love Christmas at Bluestone, from Elftopia (review coming soon!) to the gorgeous village, it’s all just simply beautiful.

So yes, we’re in love with Bluestone, and yes, there will be more posts coming soon with even more beautiful sights from Bluestone Wales- watch this space!
