Big Business Decisions and How to Make Them

I’m no expert when it comes to big business decisions, but I do have a gut instinct when it comes to decision making. Zoey and I have had many business ideas, and making decisions can be pretty tough indeed. I would describe my blog as my business and each day I have to make important choices.

Big Business Decisions and How to Make Them

I thought I’d pop together a few tips for businesses, decisions and dilemmas and more…

1. Do I go it alone?

I actually think business as a single person is just as daunting as working as a team. Both have their pros and cons, but for me, I like being able to be fully in charge of my business. If you are happy to compromise and possibly take longer to make decisions then a team effort may suit you.

2. How do I market myself/ my brand?

I think this is a tough one. It totally depends on your business. For example, a blogger usually needs to be seen on most platforms plus their blog/vlog. However, if you’re a brand that works visually then Instagram would be a better choice. Find out what works for you.

3. What about when I’m done?

When businesses change or develop, sometimes it makes sense to switch things up a bit. Mergers and Acquisitions with BCMS is a good starting point if this is the direction you plan to go in.

4. How much work is too much work?

You really need to find a balance when it comes to your work/home life. I am awful at this, but my top tip is to definitely have one decent day off. Switch your devices off, but more importantly, switch your mind off.

5. Save Money and Time

It’s so important to think about saving money and time when it comes to business. My biggest suggestions here would be to hire people for the tasks that you don’t NEED to be a part of, this could be social media or secretarial work or even hiring a cleaner depending on your needs. You can also save money by buying second hand goods, this could include purchasing pre-owned equipment from C Pack  for example.

I think there’s a lot to think about when starting a business. All the decisions and often daunting situations can leave you feeling overwhelmed. I hope I’ve helped ease some worries and answered some questions you may have had.
