It’s Christmas and this means it’s time get shopping for the ones we love, right? I’ve compiled a list of perfect and affordable gift ideas for the lady in your life, with a few vegan surprises on the way!
Affordable Christmas Gift Ideas for Her (With a Few Vegan Surprises!)
I don’t know about you, but I have very little time to relax. If I could receive anything for Christmas it would be a good old pamper session, and that would obviously include candles!
I’ve recently received some gorgeous candles from Valley Mill* based in Neath and Swansea. I love how local they are their candles have such a gorgeous Welsh vibe, with scents such as Hoffi Coffee and Welsh Cake, how can you resist?
When it comes to taking care of yourself, natural deodorants are the way forward! I love this gorgeous Natural Deodorant Balm* from Procoal. This gorgeous gift is vegan and free from parabens and aluminium! It’s currently on sale for £6.95 (RRP £9.99) and I think it would be a perfect stocking filler for someone in need of tlc…
Skincare is another area of self care, and this lovely recovery cream from Sudocrem* would be another little treat perfect for a stocking filler. It’s £5.99 ad suitable for all skin types…
I am loving these vegan Prosecco Cocktail Jellies* from Tesco. They are so festive and they’re a bargain at £3. I think they’d make an awesome little gift or stocking filler without the hangover!
Another fab idea is a personalised bottle of prosecco. After all the madness of Christmas, most of us mothers just need to relax! What better way than with this lovely bottle of fizz?! This gorgeous personalised prosecco* is currently on offer for £17.99 (RRP £25.99) at Find me a Gift, and I think it’s a fab idea for a gift this Christmas!
If fizz isn’t your thing, then When in Rome Falanghina is the one for you! It starts at £27 for 2.5 litres and it’s also vegan friendly!
I think these gorgeous Pickering’s Gin Baubles* may be my favourite item for this Christmas. They just look so festive and pretty (they’re vegan too!), too beautiful to even use! They are presented in a lovely brown box and cost £30 for the set. They are sure to brighten up any tree and they’re the perfect indulgent and affordable gift for anyone with a penchant for gin…
I absolutely love the idea of combining lots of little gifts to create a self-care hamper. In fact, Warren and I have a plan to create this kind of things for a few people in our family, and we’re so excited about it. You could go for a movie themed basket, or a bath basket, or mix it up and include lots of indulgent bits and bobs as shown below. Flowers, a face mask, a gin bauble, candle, sponge and most importantly the one thing I (and no other sane person) can live without, vegan pasta!
Garofalo Pasta is the most deliciously indulgent pasta I’ve ever eaten, and it’s completely affordable (ranging from £1.99 to £8+ for bulk buys) and you can buy it from Ocado or Amazon. It’s amazingly delicious and goes really far, compared to other brands. I love it!
I know quite a few mothers who love nothing more than relaxing with a nice cup of tea. This gorgeous Spring to Life Tea Infuser from Amara is the perfect gift and it’s very reasonably priced at £9!
If you’re buying for the rock chic mother then look no further than these gorgeous lashes from Pinky Goat. Made from synthetics or human hair, these lashes provide that extra bit of glamour on those rare (but wonderful) nights out! Prices start from £10 so they’re perfect for stocking fillers…
Vegan food and drink time, thanks to Marks & Spencer! Their Chocolate and Coconut drink is such an amazing replacement for Baileys. It’s £12 but often on offer for £6 – bargain!
Marks and Spencer are onto a winner with this gorgeous Gianduja Bar, and it’s so yummy! I love that there’s a delicious vegan option available to indulge in and it’s only £1.50, I’ll take ten please!
I’m a big baker, so for me this Biscuit Roller is as cute and thoughtful as a present can get. I can’t wait to test it out with the little ones in the build up to Christmas! It’s from the wonderful Sous Chef and costs £27.50.
I’m going to end this post with the gift of giving. I recently received this lovely gift from The Wallich and I think it’s a very kind and giving concept. I cannot wait to get knitting and encourage George and Molly to do the same. You can get your very own One Knit Wonder at John Lewis and Partners now!
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading through my list and that you’ve found something for someone in your life this Christmas.
