‘Tis the season to start thinking about all those lovely Christmas parties, and deciding what you’re going to wear. Femme Luxe has an awesome collection of dresses, perfect for all occasions, so read on to see the items I chose for party season, plus a sneak peek of a fab tee for Zoey!

 

Pick Your Party Dress with Femme Luxe

We love dress shopping, in fact it’s all we’ve been doing since November hit! We recently found out we’re finalists in the Vuelio blogger newcomer awards for Our Transitional Life, so we have been searching for the perfect party dress ever since!

Not only is it important to find the right glitzy dress, it’s also super important to feel good in the clothes you choose. Whilst I perused Femme Luxe’s website, I found so many amazing dresses, and I actually felt spoilt for choice. I ended up going for three dresses, and I also chose a lovely tee for Zoey (keep reading to see how apt it is!).

When it comes to dresses, there’s so much choice. You could opt for a sparkly dress, or a colourful dress, or a mixture of the two! But let’s not forget the classic of all dresses…

 

The Little Black Dress

How can you refuse the importance of the classic little black dress! It’s such an essential piece of wardrobe, and this was my first choice…

 

 

It quite see-through, as you can see (!!!), but it comes with a little black slip to wear underneath. I have never been phased by having a little bit of my bra on show, so this doesn’t bother me, but if you were conscious of this you could pop on a solid black bra and you wouldn’t notice it underneath the dress.

I really like how ‘dressed up’ I felt in this, ready to hit the town and party for Christmas! Do you have a little black dress ready for any occasion?

 

Basic Dress

Next up I chose a mustard dress, perfect for styling up with accessories and hitting the town. I think my chest area may be a little big for this dress style, but I still like the cute factor of it…

 

 

I could imagine big chunky jewellery and heels! It would look super cute, especially with mustard heels. It is a pretty easy to work with colour, but you can also keep it really classic with all black accessories. But don’t forget, do whatever works for you and your personal style!

 

Print Dress

The third (and final) dress I chose is probably my favourite, and I think a lot of you will like it! It’s a gorgeous print dress, and I felt sooooo good wearing it…

 

 

I just love a shirt dress, and this one is so silky soft! I had to go out after taking this photo, and I needed to get changed into other clothes, but it was hard taking it off! I absolutely adore it. It’s really comfortable, flattering, and the fit is spot on. I really love Femme Luxe shirt dresses, and I can’t wait to add more to my collection…

 

Special Tee

Special tee time! I couldn’t walk away from my online shop without picking something out for Zoey. I ended up choosing this gorgeous black t-shirt with the slogan, ‘Love Yaself’. I think the perfect mantra for anyone, but especially Zoey. She’s been through so much the past year that I hope this tee reminds her how fabulous she is!

 

 

When it comes to buying tops it’s all about the material as well as the slogans. This tee has super soft material, and Zoey even commented on how it felt and the fact that it’s the perfect length for her. She looks so fab in it and seeing her smile makes me feel so happy inside!
