Make Your Own Indoor Garden #BostikBlogger

*Thank you to Bostik & Craft Merrily for these lovely bits.

It’s that time of the month, #BostikBlogger fun with Bostik and Craft Merrily! Gosh I love crafting and it was amazing to let George take the lead on this one…

Make Your Own Indoor Garden

George got well stuck in with this craft and I loved seeing him immerse himself in it. He recruited Molly and me to work with him and we just had a really fun hour or so creating a beautiful indoor garden…

You will need…

  • Scissors
  • Bostik Glu
  • Bostik foam pads
  • Green tissue paper
  • Foam and cardboard shapes (bugs, flowers etc)
  • Wire
  • Sharpies
  • Googly eyes
  • Fake leaves
  • Mini pine cones

Step 1

Cut three flaps off the cardboard box, leaving one for your garden title. Cut grass shapes into the front section for your garden and colour them in…

Step 2

Coat the bottom of the box with Bostik White Glu and place green tissue paper down for the grassy garden ‘look’!

Step 3

Use pom poms to create bushes inside the garden and create a title for your garden and stick it on the large cardboard background.

Step 4

Use mini-pine cones to create a hedgehog family! Molly was in charge of this task and they were amazing, so proud of her creative skills!

Step 5

Create hanging insects! Choose from bees to butterflies, decorate them and use wire to attach them to the top of the heading area. Once again, George had this idea and it is so effective!

Step 6

Create little areas for your creatures. Use compostable pots for creature homes or compost creators, use little sticks for creature areas and decorate it to your choosing!

Step 7

Get creative! Make plasticine snails, slugs or whichever critters you choose! Explore nature and your craft store and make as many things as you like to fill your indoor garden…

Step 8

Play! Have fun! Enjoy your beautiful creation…

I absolutely adore this craft and I love George’s idea for this month’s #BostikBlogger craft challenge 🙂

I hope you enjoy making this lovely indoor garden too!
