Creating Beautiful Birthday Cards with FREE Fonts from Font Bundles
Using Font Bundles to create birthday cards couldn’t be simpler. Using fonts for free is a great way to be creative and save some pennies, as well as creating something personal for the receiver. You can mock up your cards in a relatively short time, and then give the gift of creativity and thoughtfulness, all for the price of paper and use of a printer.
Zoey and I had a go at designing three birthday cards using these free fonts, but before we reveal them, we’re going to talk you through how to get your free fonts!
Firstly, head on over to the Font Bundles website and choose from the awesome selection of free fonts available. Click onto your desired font bundle and you’ll see the offers and what’s available to download in terms of fonts. Hit the ‘download for free’ now button and once it’s downloaded you need to install the fonts. It takes seconds to do, and once you’ve done it you can use these fonts to create beautiful cards!
We decided to go with three very different designs, to showcase the different fonts available. Our first card was designed with quite a fun and edgy take on a classic birthday card, with two blues contrasting and showcasing the central message. This card uses ‘Bring Heart’ font, and I think it looks really bright and breezy – it’s sure to put a smile on the recipient’s face!
Our second card is quite feminine and fun, with purple ‘Arigato’ font and lots of cute stars! I would love to receive this card on my birthday, it just makes me smile looking at it! It’s really quirky and shouts out the message with the bold but fun font…
Finally, we decided to make a transgender themed birthday card. We really love incorporating the transgender flag into our designs and gift making, because we’re proud of it! I want Zoey to know how proud I am of her, and this kind of card would show her this as well as how loved she is! I love this font too, it’s called ‘Yummy Burger’ and it’s really feminine and flirty…
Using these free font bundles was straightforward, fun and it makes each card so much more than just a card. They’re full of heart and love, they’re personalised and special, offering the giver the chance to show their loved one how much they’re truly loved!
