6 Things I’d Love to Do in My 30’s

You’re never too old to try something new, right?! With my 40’s fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to think about the 5 things I’d still love to do before I hit the big 4-0.

6 Things I’d Love to Do in My 30’s

Travel

I am itching to travel! I keep dreaming of hopping in the van and doing a tour of the UK with the kids. I know this itch would spread worldwide, and I’m okay with that! I dream of visiting Scotland, the Titanic Museum in Belfast, more of Wales and any other places along the way…

Study

Having seen Zoey take so much pleasure in her degree, I must admit I wouldn’t say no to taking some sort of course in the future. NLP Training have so many courses, and with their philosophy ‘unleash your potential’ it’s hard not to consider one of their fab courses!

Move House

I know. Again. But seriously, I’d love to move house again. I’d go one better and say buy a house, but what are the chances of that?! Who knows. I know for a fact this house is too small for us, but it serves us well and I’m not ungrateful to it. There’s a roof over our heads and we’re fed each day, and this time last year we weren’t sure if we were going to need to use the local food bank. So, I’m grateful for it, but soon we’ll need to move on…

Self Publish

My book is currently in the hands of 5 agents, and I’ll send out to five more if I get rejected. But at what point do I just say, ‘I’m self publishing’? I’m just not sure, but I imagine it will be before I’m 40. Then I can write the next one, right?!

Have a Baby

Massive dream here, but I guess I’m not just talking pregnancy, I’m not even talking babies! We’ve reached a point where our pregnancy dreams have come to and end, but we’ve also talked about a few other ways we can share our love (and home). For example, a puppy is definitely on the cards at some point, but even more exciting than that is our dream of fostering in the future. So watch this space!

Renew Vows

I can’t wait to renew my vows to Zoey! It’s something we’ve talked about since she came out in January.  We’ve talked about what we’d wear, where we’d have our ‘wedding’ and who we’d invite. It’s an exciting conversation, and one I’ll never tire of! I love her so much!

So, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about the things I’d like to accomplish/ dream about before I’m 40. What would be on your list?
