Today we were invited to review The Snail and the Whale live on stage at Sherman Theatre. Tall Stories are renowned for their gorgeous productions, and The Snail and the Whale is no exception. This particular Julia Donaldson’s book is one of my favourites, and we all know and love Axel Scheffler’s beautiful illustrations. This weekend sees Tickledom come to Wales, thanks to an overwhelming response to their previous tour in 2002. The tour begins in my favourite place in the world, Aberystwyth, and continues on until it arrives at Wales Millennium Centre on Sunday 30th July 2017.  The family-friendly story, written by Matthew Brind and John Manders, follows the plants and flowers of the Kingdom of Tickledom.
