These step stools are super cute and easy to make. You can upcycle an old wooden stool or purchase a new one. Sand the top down and add a stain of your choice. If you prefer to paint it, that would look great too. Then use stencils to paint on the name.

 Once it is dry, spray it with two coats of sealant. These are great for kids, but they would also work for adults. If adults do not want their name on them, then personalize it by stenciling on the designs that match their personal style decor.

If you are using a porcelain plate, you can use a permanent marker and bake it on. Put the plate in the oven, and then set it for 350 degrees. Do not preheat it. Leave it in for 30 minutes.

 Let it completely cool before opening the door or removing the plate. This helps it not to crack.

5. Wooden Hoop Wreath with Name
This gorgeous wreath is following trend today by using an exposed wooden hoop. It is easy to make and can be customized from what you see in the picture. 

The best part is that you can pick any flowers, ribbons or other embellishments that match your current decor. 

First, stain the wooden hoop with the color that best matches the room you will be using it in. Next, add flowers around the bottom half. To add your family name, choose cutout wooden letters in a font that you like. Paint them, glue them together, and add them to the top of the wreath.
