Springtime Fashion Must Haves

Coming into the Spring/Summer season, it’s a really great time to freshen up your wardrobe and grab a few extra key items. Whether you are looking for a Summer jacket, some beach wear, or even keeping it comfy and cosy with their fabulous joggers and loungewear collections,  Femme Luxe is the place to find what you are looking for.

We love browsing the Femme Luxe website, checking out all the different items and wondering how the clothing would make us feel. We imagine how the fabric will feel, how the cut would sit, and what different items we can pair together to get that ‘on point’ outfit sorted!

We both adore funky and edgy fashion as well as some of the more comforting items, so this time when we were browsing, we decided on some fabulous pieces to help bring our looks together.

 

 

Zoey loves that whole ‘rockstar’ theme so as soon as she came across the high waisted faux leather leggings, she just had to have them! We love how stretchy and sleek they feel and the shine in the right light is to die for!

 

 

Zoey also bagged a cropped white denim jacket. Now, Zoey loves a good little jacket, she already has two faux leather ones as well as a grey denim one, so there was really no real decision to be made when this item presented itself! It’s a sturdy denim that feels like it will really last, and you can tell that as it is worn and washed a few times it will soften slightly and develop a truly vintage ‘distressed’ look. We don’t normally go for white clothing (maybe we are too messy!) but as it was denim, it felt like a good choice, and it was!

 

 

Zoey tied off her look with a polka dot skirt and statement tee, it’s playful, edgy and super comfy! She had a little bounce around the house in it as there isn’t really anywhere to go just yet! However, when things begin to get back to ‘normal’ she will have the outfit ready to rock thanks to Femme Luxe.

Kelly is mad for bold prints and statement pieces, so when she was browsing and saw this patterned jumper, she knew it was for her! Jumpers are great, any time of the year! Yeah in the winter when it gets a bit chilly, cardigans and jumpers get scraped from the bottom of the wardrobe, but why can’t you wear jumpers all year round? Cropped jumpers are great for this, you can wear them in place of a tee when it’s not quite so hot outside, or over the top of a bold shirt as Kelly has done when it’s not quite chilly enough outside to be wearing a coat. This time of year, the sun is beginning to shine a little brighter but the wind is still a little nippy and the rain often decides it’s time to drizzle away, so you often find yourself questioning whether the big old winter coat is the right choice!

 

 

Slam on your jumper, maybe some joggers, if you are feeling a little iffy about the clouds in the sky, grab a brolly for your bag and walk out the door rocking your bold prints and fashion forward looks! You only live once right?

So with Summer on the way, we will now be looking at how we can make the most of the pieces in our wardrobe whilst adding a few extras to freshen it all up and make us feel special. We always have loads of tabs open, checking out and comparing all the different pieces of clothing from Femme Luxe, I guess the hard part now is deciding which ones to get and which ones we should leave! The great thing with Femme Luxe is the pieces are all so fabulous and aren’t going to cost you the earth, so you know what, maybe this time we don’t have to close the tabs, we don’t have to ‘leave that skirt til next time’, maybe we can just pop it all in the basket and not worry about it. You could grab a denim jacket, faux leather leggings, or statement jumper like us, or why not add some joggers, or even a bodycon dress for the ‘soon to be here’ nights out?

I think we deserve the treat any way with the year we’ve all had!
