Find Yourself with Femme Luxe

I have been having a tough time recently when it comes to myself, what I stand for, and how I want to present myself in the world. I have a massive love for feeling comfortable, and relaxed, but some days I also want to make a bit more of an effort. We’re super busy and always on the go with so many projects, so I find making an effort gets in the way!
However, I’ve recently refreshed my hair and gone back to orange, and it seems to have given me a zest in regards to embracing myself a bit more. I still want to have down days, and I still have plenty of them! But I also feel a bit more me of late, and with that comes a little bit more fun and experimentation with make-up, hair and clothing too!
I kinda feel that when you have a lot going on, your own needs come last, but it’s so important to remember to take care of ourselves and do things that bring us joy. For example, a simple good hair day can make you feel like you can conquer the world, right?!
Recently we received some gorgeous bits from Femme Luxe, and at first I was nervous to try them out, but once I did I began to love myself a little bit more. I especially love wearing orange clothing with my orange hair, there’s something very empowering about it…
This set is so comfortable and cute, and compliment my hair so perfectly. I felt so good wearing this outfit, and even though my make-up is very basic, I think it still works! This kind of thing could be worn around the house or out on a little adventure with the pooches…
They also sent me some white boot-cut trousers, and even though I don’t wear white a lot, they were really comfortable and stretchy. These are perfect for what’s left of the summer months, and would go well with any kind of top, especially bright colours and vests. They’d be perfect for days or nights out, and going on day-trips, or even work days.
Finally we received some green capri pants, and they are so cute and comfortable. I’m all about the comfort, and these almost felt like I was wearing nothing haha! They’re smooth, comfortable, and incredibly soft. I think they’re so easy to wear, and if you have any sensory issues, these are defo the right kinda trousers for you!
I really love all of these items, and how they look and make me feel. I really love being comfortable, but if you can pick things you love and feel good and comfortable, then these items are for you. They’re perfect for everyday wear, or you can jazz them up for a night out or create an office vibe outfit for those work days.

I really feel it’s important to dress and wear clothes that honour your needs and embrace your personality at the same time. I’m nearly 40 and definitely still working out my style, and maybe I’ll always have a mash-up style to suit how I feel on the day? Either way, enjoying clothes (and style/make-up etc) is the most important part of how we present each day. As I write this, I’m wearing my Femme Luxe joggers, and that’s okay! Tomorrow I might break out the orange co-ords, who knows?! All that matters is that we feel good about ourselves and embrace who we truly are, instead of feeling we have to fit a certain style of pre-conceived idea from society. We are unique beings and we should embrace that fully, instead of fitting into a mould.
