Today on the blog we are talking all about comfy clothes, with a bit feature on lock-down lounge wear from Femme Luxe. A lot of us are home-based right now, and we don’t necessarily want to wear pyjamas every single day, right?! That’s where lounge wear comes in! Who doesn’t love feeling relaxed and comfy, but looking fab at the same time?! Read on to find out how you can embrace lounge wear during lock-down!

 

Lock-down Lounge Wear From Femme Luxe

 

We’re embracing lock-down (see our tips for rocking lock-down) as a family, entertaining ourselves with crafts, home education bits and bobs, and all the work we can do over on Our Transitional Life. It’s all about keeping busy and finding your purpose, right?! Even if your purpose is to binge watch Killing Eve and other Netflix shows (we don’t judge, having just binge watched I AM Not Okay With This!) if you’re feeling overwhelmed. We’ve even had a sort in the garden and revamped our old mud kitchen!

It’s a funny old time, but it’s also important to take some steps towards self care, and remembering all the good things about being home based, including wearing comfy yet stylish clothing! We recently received some gorgeous loungewear items from Femme Luxe, and we can’t wait to share our thoughts about them with you…

I (Kelly) wanted to be super comfy, but also rock the whole ‘fiercely femme’ look, so I opted for an oversized tee and joggers, and I absolutely love the items I chose. The joggers are soft and fluffy, perfect for lounging around or working from home, or even for a socially-distanced stroll around the block. The oversized tee is both comfortable and empowering! I just love this comfy, yet cool, outfit…

 

 

Zoey opted for two gorgeous outfits, firstly she went for a two piece lounge wear set in a khaki green. This set is soft and luxurious, perfect for having a read of your favourite book in a cosy nook, or just rolling around on the bed, like we like to do – haha! It’s important to have fun, embrace each day and giggle, and we had a giggle taking these gorgeous photos.

I really love this colour on her, and it’s perfect for the lock-down period because it’s made from really soft material and it’s also super comfortable, whilst looking stylish…

 

 

Her second look is a tee (previously sent to us from Femme Luxe) and these gorgeous pinky-peach joggers. Zoey is in love with these joggers, mostly because they’re comfortable, but also her favourite colour is PINK! They are cosy and fluffy inside too which adds to their comfort! I loved taking these photos because I love to make her feel special and beautiful, because she is! She looks gorgeous (and super relaxed) in these – they’re definitely a winner…

 

Zoey’s thoughts on the collection;

“I love how comfortable and luxurious the clothing feels. The material is soft and lovely and makes my want to snuggle up with a book or a movie and just spend the day chilling! I especially love the tees from Femme Luxe as they are always so soft and comfortable and have such empowering slogans on them.

I loved how the khaki set had a wide opening that you can wear on or off the shoulder too to give it an extra feminine touch. I just can’t stop loving the joggers though! O… M… G! They fit so nicely and make me feel like my legs are being cwtched with cotton wool! They are totally lush!”

We think the loungewear collection from Femme Luxe is quite simply stunning. It’s comfortable, looks great, and has a reasonable price tag, so what’s not to love?! It’s so important to feel good in your own skin, especially during such a daunting and uncertain time. So why not embrace the ‘lounge’ concept with clothing that won’t make you want to go straight back to bed?!
