The Perfect Gift This Christmas: My First Scalextric!

We love a good toy
review, especially when the toy in question is amazing! We were super
excited to be able to review My First Scalextric (£39.99), an awesome car racing game
aimed at children aged 3-6 who love a bit of fun and excitement when
it comes to play.

Play is a huge part
of our lifestyle; it can involve playing together or alone (both of
which have their benefits!), it makes everyone happy and it helps to
nurture imagination. With Scalextric, it did all this and more!
George and Molly
carefully opened the box and were immediately wary of piecing the
track together without their Daddy’s help. Warren didn’t hesitate to
help, getting down on the ground with George and Molly to construct
the ‘figure of eight’ (or as the kids like to describe it, ‘infinity’!)
track.

It didn’t take long
for them to put it together, and I liked how they had to figure out
how to attach the controllers. It didn’t take long to put together at
all, then Warren plugged it in and they were off!

It was super easy to
use, with matching red and yellow chevrons so George and Molly knew
where to place their cars, as well as matching controllers with
varied speed depending on the pressure used. The set is also
compatible with other sets so you could extend it if you wanted to!

What I loved most as
the kids played was their infectious belly laughter and squeals of
delight. I can honestly say, they had and are still having so much
fun with this toy; they love it so much and I love how it encourages
us to join in together as a family. We can take it in turns, have
races or just enjoy the ride around the track.Just look at the joy on Molly’s face…

 George and Molly
adore it and I know we’ll be looking at extending the track in the
very near future! From
hand/eye co-ordination to healthy competition to simply having some
special family time, My First Scalextric is the perfect gift for
children 3+ this Christmas.
Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
