We love going camping and we have a few festivals in the pipeline this year, so it makes sense to get a head start on preparations, and what’s more important than figuring out the best way to feed everyone? We were recently sent a few pouches of Summit to Eat to review on the blog, and here’s what we thought…
The Perfect Food for Camping or Festivals : Summit to Eat!
Summit to Eat offer healthy and nutritious foods perfect to take on long hikes, camping trips or festivals. They’d also be amazing for travelling folk, because they’re so lightweight and easy to carry…
I tested out the Vegetable Chipotle Chilli With Rice flavour, you can check out the vlog below:
I thought the chilli was delicious, and from my (limited) knowledge I would consider it vegan* too, which is perfect for us! As I said in the video, it has a lot of flavour and it’s quite spicy. If spice isn’t your thing then this one isn’t for you, but there are lots of other options for you to choose from, such as Morning Oats With Raspberry…
The pouches cost £5.50 each and I imagine they could be split between two people with extra sides such as bread and salad or a piece of fruit.
They’re great because they’re compact, they’re light and they’re very easy to make. They’re also full of nutritional goodness and natural flavours, so they’re perfect for the health conscious travellers.
Have you tried Summit to Eat? What’s your favourite flavour?
*Please not I’m not 100% sure of the ingredients, but will endeavour to find out and report back.
