A Simple Fireworks Craft!

Firework prints painted onto black card.

Lately my little monkeys have become pretty obsessed with Creative Galaxy. I didn’t quite get it until I watched it, and actually, I’m pretty keen on it now too!

It includes a story, crafts, creativity, play and today an episode (all about impressionism) and it inspired me to get the kids making Firework Art.

We used black card, paint and bits and bobs we’d found on our walk/around the house. We used twigs, pine cones, flowers and later it evolved and out came the brushes!

We used all these lovely textures to create gorgeous firework displays…

Aren’t they stunning?!

What I like most is how simple, yet effective they are… You could use anything you find on a walk, or around the house.

Have you tried this out before? What crafts will you be doing in connection with Bonfire Night?

Love it! I especially like that natural materials are being used and it does look really effective. I can see that my son would have fun doing this 😀
