Sherman Storytime Comes to Town!

As
you’ll probably already know, I’m a huge fan of the theatre, and
regularly attend Sherman to review new and outstanding performances.
Sherman has an air of magic, with the performances challenging the
way we look at life and ourselves. I love their support of talented
writers and directors, as well as showcasing some of the best talent
in Cardiff with performances such as How My Light Is Spent and more
recently, Gods & Kings.

This
month something very exciting is evolving within the walls of this
fantastic venue, and it’s aimed at the little ones in your life.
Sherman Storytime is a weekly term-time event for under 5’s and their
parents!

The
sessions will run for 90 minutes each week starting from 11am and you
can expect to have a lot of fun with storytime incorporating arts,
music and games. The structure may change from week to week depending
on the leader that week, but it sounds like it will be an amazing way
to connect with other families, parents and children in a safe,
exciting and fun environment.

Each
session will cost £3.50 per child (no charge for parents) and this
price includes a healthy snack and drink. The bar will also be open
if you want to purchase hot or cold drinks whilst having lots of fun
with your child(ren).

I
think this sounds like such a sweet venture, and I only wish I had an
under 5 year old to take along!

I
think it will give families the chance to explore arts and crafts in
a new and exciting way and through the medium of storytelling. What’s
better for little minds than this kind of creativity and interaction?

The
sessions start Monday 18th September 2018 at 11am, so be
sure to get down to Sherman and enjoy the fun!
