Review: Stampin’ Up!’s Lots of Happy Card Kit.

Collection of cards with title.

You might remember a while ago we reviewed Stampin’ Up!‘s Oh Happy Day and Christmas Card Kits? We adored creating those cards, and we were really excited to receive their Lots of Happy Card Kit so we could do even more crafty card making!

I was so excited opening the box; the kit comes with all the bits and pieces you need to make 20 cards. It’s presented in a gorgeous and high quality box that could easily be used to store other crafty bits once you’ve made and given out all 20 cards.

The kit includes:
* a set of 7 photopolymer stamps
* clear stamp block
* 20 printed card bases and coordinating envelopes
* giftable kraft box
* printed, gold foil, white, and vellum die-cut accents
* white/gold foil labels
* Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Spot
* full-size Watercolor Pencils in Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry
* Lemon Lime Twist 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Ombre Ribbon
* Stampin’ Dimensionals

Selection of coloured pencils, stamps, card and ribbon.

Obviously we got stuck in, and it was really exciting to have the pencils included in the kit – who doesn’t love a bit of colouring in?! There are a few bits and bobs to sort through, but once you’ve got your head around what you need and you understand the pictures within the booklet, you’re good to go.

I really enjoyed the colouring in side of things, it was really therapeutic! It’s lovely to watch the layers build up to create beautiful and interesting handmade cards.

This is the first one I attempted…

Card, shapes and stamps to make a card.

Paper leaves being stuck onto a card.

Purple/pink pencil with a leaf cut out coloured in.

Card with payers built upon it, with the message 'I'm Always Here For You.'

 All the cards are super fun and easy to make. You get all the equipment you need within the box and there’s nothing quite like the joy of creating gorgeous cards ready for all those special event! The only thing I used from my own stash of crafting goodies was glue, but you don’t necessarily need it because there are double-sided sticky tabs within the kit.

It’s such a lovely take on a card making kit, I’ve never found one with the colouring-in option before, and it works really well…

 Everything within the kit is such high quality, the items are all really well thought out and nothing gets wasted. They feel so personal too, I know for sure anyone would appreciate such a lovely handmade card; it’s a gift in itself really!

Selection of handmade cards.

I absolutely loved making my little selection, it’s just going to be tough knowing who to give them to…

But hey, I have 17 more to make so plenty to go around! I really cannot recommend this set highly enough, they’re perfect to keep your creative juices flowing whilst also presenting loved ones with gorgeous messages of thanks and tonnes of love. They’re unique and quirky, and I can’t wait to give them to those around me that mean so much to me.

Please let me know if you try this kit out, and don’t forget to Pin It! if you like this post 🙂
