Review: Draw, act or describe your way to victory with Randomise!

We were recently sent an awesome game called Randomise to review and I’m really looking forward to telling you guys all about it! Randomise brings all the family together in a game that allows you to express yourself through words, actions or drawings…

You need a minimum of 4 players split into two teams, a stopwatch, pen and some paper. The cards are labelled A, B, C and should be kept in their individual piles facing down on the table. One person from the first team declares whether they’re going to choose the EASY or the HARD challenge and whether they’re going to describe, act or draw it. Then they pick one card from each pile, A, B or C. Then the other team gives them the numbers 1, 2 and 3 in any order to give the player a descriptive identity, such as ’embarassed lion reading a book’. The player then has 30 (describe), 60 (act) or 90 (draw) seconds in which time a member of their team must guess correctly.
As for the scoring…

It’s a really simple game once you get your head around the rules and we couldn’t wait to get started! Molly and I were on one team, George and Warren on another. We didn’t use the stopwatch for the first few rounds just to get into it and it clicked straight away…

It was so much fun watching everyone take part, from acting to describing, we had a lot of fun! Molly and George really got into drawing their selection and it worked really well!

The above photo is Molly’s creation; an embarrassed turtle on roller skates! Isn’t it amazing?! We had so much fun and it was lovely to have family time together full of laughter and creativity.

Randomise is £11.99 and you can buy it here. I think it would be a great addition to any home, perfect for families and friends to play together. It would also be the perfect stocking filler for the festive season.

Disclosure: We received this game in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
