Quality time and gorgeous food with #PrezzoLaFamiglia!

were recently invited to Prezzo in St David’s 2
to try out their new #PrezzoLaFamiglia sharing dish, and
we couldn’t
wait to chow down on some
delicious pasta! Located on the
second floor alongside many other eateries, Prezzo stands out as a
one-of-a-kind restaurant with a lot to offer!

love eating out as a family, it’s a complete joy, but it’s not always
an inexpensive task.

often choose to eat at home or take a picnic if we can, but with
Prezzo’s new sharing dish, we can save money and fill our bellies
£18.90 you can order a sharing dish. The pasta choices are as
  • Penne
  • Spaghetti
  • Spaghetti
  • Penne
    Alla Rusticana

The staff are so
incredibly friendly at Cardiff Prezzo, they guided us to our table
and gave us plenty of time to decide what to eat. We were sat right
next to the pizza oven, so we could see the wonderful chefs preparing
everyone’s meals.

went for  Spaghetti Carbonara, because it’s one of our favourite dishes
to eat at home and I knew the children (especially Molly) would love
it! Whist we waited George and Molly used their fab colouring in sheets and crayons…

It wasn’t long before our food came and it
looked way too good to eat; we had the sharing dish plus a gorgeous
caramelised onion garlic pizza bread.

Of course, we added
lashings of parmesan to the pasta when offered, because it’s delicious!

I couldn’t wait to tuck in, but we weren’t sure how to tackle it at first. We started off by dividing it up between us onto little plates…

The bowl didn’t look like it had tonnes of pasta in it, but as we delved in, we realised it was a huge portion and more than enough for a pasta loving family like us!
Soon enough we were sharing from the actual serving bowl without a care in the world. I think it encouraged the kiddies to eat more because we were all tucking in together.

We were in pasta heaven! It was so delicious and filling, and we laughed and chattered amongst ourselves as we shared the bowl around for everyone to try. It was a massive hit with Molly and I think maybe she ate the most! Check out this video to see what she thought…

She loved it and so did we! It was such a nice way to spend an afternoon; affordable, delicious and above all we were together, basking in each other’s company and being happy.

It was the perfect way to spend a day together and for £18.90 you can’t go wrong! I cannot wait to go back and try out the other pasta dishes as a family.

Which dish would you try and how would you eat it?!
