I love a good wreath making session and Halloween calls for this kinda craft, doesn’t it?! Luckily Hobbycraft sent us all the things we needed to make a spooky wreath in time for our favourite time of year!
The supplies we used included:
I wanted to keep it pretty simple, so I added some gorgeous ribbon to start with. This was a little fiddly because the wreath has a flat back, but it still worked really well.
Once this was complete I pinned it into place with drawing pins but you could also stitich or glue it. I would have used my glue gun but it gets a bit too hot and usually melts the polystyrene.
Of course I decided to decoupage part of the wreath; I simply used modge podge to attach torn pieces of decoupage paper to the wreath.
Once it was completely dry Molly helped me add cute little pumpkin faces and ribbon to hang it up…
We also added glow in the dark stickers, a BOO!!! sign, a funny face and some pom poms (all thanks to Molly!). I think it turned out really well and I cannot wait to show it off over the Halloween period!
What do you think of our wreath?! How would you design your Halloween wreath?
