Celebrate Christmas at The Red Dragon Centre with Hollywood Bowl and Cadwaladers!

Christmas is just such a wonderful time of year, a time to think of others and be with family and friends. So, when Cardiff Mummy invited George and Molly to try out a children’s party at Hollywood Bowl at The Red Dragon Centre, how could we say no?!

Bowling with friends at Christmas? Oh yeah!

We headed to The Red Dragon Centre (we were all kidnapped by Cardiff Mummy this time!) to meet Ali from We Made this Life.

We were greeted warmly by the staff at Hollywood Bowl and they showed us where to get the children’s bowling shoes (I LOVE bowling shoes!). George and Molly proceeded to try on several different sizes, and the staff were SO helpful and patient.

Then it was time to head to the lanes!

Immediately Christmas was all around us (yes, I’m making a reference to Love Actually!), Santa hats, crackers and a gorgeous Christmas tree created this lovely Christmassy feel! George and Molly popped their hats on, popped some party poppers and shared crackers, until it was time to get serious… and bowl!

To start with they used the ramp, and both children had the bumpers ‘on’, but towards the end of the game they stopped using the ramp and Warren helped them bowl without it 🙂

They both LOVED it and they did really well! Right at the end Molly scored a strike, woohoo! She gave her extra go to George (I know!) and received two stickers from the staff!

At this point they were super hungry so we headed on over to the seating area.There were activity sheets on the table, and when the food came, well it didn’t last long!

Before we left everyone had a little nose in the amusement arcade part, before heading for ice cream!

The Christmas Kids Party’s are £10.49 per child. For this you get…

* 1 game of bowling
* A meal
* A mocktail each
* A VIP UV glow wristband
* A framed picture of the party

To finish off our lovely festive event, we all headed to Cadwaladers for well deserved ice cream and coffee!

George chose Bubblegum whilst Molly went for her favourite, Mango Sorbet. In a flash, they were gone!

Warren and I tried some festive hot drinks, I chose the Eggnog Latte and Warren went for a Gingerbread flavoured latte- yummy!

We’ve really missed visiting Cadwaladers; it’s one of our favourite places to go as a family, so it was great to experience it once again. It was also an awesome way to end our their Christmas Party!

Disclosure: I attended this event in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.

    Ah I'm so excited, my work are doing our Christmas do down there and I've yet to go, it looks like so much more fun compared the other one in the centre near the stadium
