A wonderful way to spend the Easter holidays…

We usually spend the Easter holidays very close to home, but this year we were spoilt for choice for things to do.Of ocurse it started off with a bit of baking. After this, our first adventure led us to Cardiff to take part in a Get Creative Event at Chapter. The event was led by  Taking Flight Theatre Company and it was so much fun! George and Molly made light-up tactile houses…

Straight after this we headed to Memo Arts Centre to see Beauty and the Beast; it was so fab!

This year we didn’t go somewhere for an Easter Egg Hunt, instead Warren arranged a lovely Egg Hunt in our garden! George and Molly loved it so much!

We also headed to Hamleys for an Easter party, it was so much fun and completely free. I love the staff, they’re so friendly and great with children, and as for meeting the Easter Bunny- wow, just wow!

Later in the week we went to Nantgarw China Works Museum for a pottery session with the lovely Carol. George and Molly made snails on leaves, and it was such an informative and fun session- we can’t wait to go back!

Nanny Kim had bought tickets for Naomi’s Wild and Scary so George, Molly and I met up with her for a hot chocolate at Pettigrew Tea Rooms, a stroll in Bute Park, lunch and a quick nip to Cardiff Story! Then it was time for the show. We all absolutely loved it, and it gave us a lot to think about!

When we arrived home we discovered a fab package from Walker Books in connection with #BearHunt, and we cannot wait to try all the lovely things out, exploring nature together and keeping a record of our findings and our adventures!

We were so lucky to be able to book in for even more pottery and lamb feeding at Amelia Trust on the last weekend of the holidays. This day was one of those days you never really want to end. We had such a lovely time with friends and the sun was shining so brightly, it was fab.

On the Sunday we headed to Chapter Arts for Your Name, which was absolutely fantastic!

We had a great Easter break, with lots of activities and quality family time, I wish we could do it all over again!

What did you get up to?
